How it Started – The Team

Our story from friends to business partners started with our common need to get our daily caffeine fix just to get us through a day of corporate work. Coffee, for us, became one of our basic needs. Everything changed when we had our first cup of hand-brewed Ethiopian coffee. This experience opened our taste buds to the world of specialty coffee and inspired us to explore different coffee origins, most especially Philippine coffee. What seemed to be a mundane habit of consuming coffee became a passion and lead to the birth of a business – Primal Brew.
